Drone Tech Breakthrough: US Unveils P100 Autonomous VTOL UAV, Pushing Battlefield Innovation

在現代戰場上,「自主性」與「靈活部署」已成為無人機設計的核心。近日,美國新創航太公司 Mayman Aerospace 宣布,他們研發的 Razor P100 垂直起降無人機(VTOL UAV) 已完成首次完全自主飛行測試。
On today’s high-tech battlefield, autonomy and flexibility are essential. US-based aerospace startup Mayman Aerospace has announced the successful autonomous flight test of its Razor P100 vertical take-off and landing drone (VTOL UAV).

這場測試於美國加州的「海軍陸戰隊空地作戰中心」(Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center)舉行,歷時18個月的測試計畫證實,P100在複雜環境中仍具備高度穩定與自主表現。
Conducted at the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in California, the 18-month trial confirmed the P100’s impressive stability and autonomy, even under challenging battlefield conditions.

與過去不同的是,這次飛行並未依賴地面牽引或遠端遙控。
What sets this test apart is that the flight was entirely untethered and free of ground-based remote control.

Mayman 表示,P100 之所以能自主飛行,關鍵在於其搭載的 AI 系統 Skyfield
The key to the P100’s autonomous flight lies in its advanced AI software system, Skyfield.

Skyfield 能根據即時環境、任務需求,自行調整飛行參數,不僅可單機運作,亦能協同控制多架無人機協作任務。
Skyfield dynamically adjusts flight conditions based on real-time environments and mission profiles. It can operate single drones or orchestrate complex swarm operations with multiple UAVs.

這款 AI 控制系統具備地形判讀、自主導航與反干擾能力,可在無人力介入的情況下,做出戰場中即時決策。
The system boasts terrain mapping, autonomous navigation, and EW (electronic warfare) resistance, enabling fully independent decision-making in combat scenarios.

Mayman Aerospace 執行長 David Mayman 表示,P100 是目前市場上唯一能整合垂直起降、自主飛行與戰術彈性於一體的無人機。
David Mayman, the company’s CEO, claimed the P100 is unmatched in the market today, offering a rare combination of VTOL capability, autonomous flight, and tactical versatility.

除了 P100,該公司同時完成另一款無人機 Razor TBX 的飛行測試。這款無人機成功載運 23 公斤重物,並完成超視距(BVLOS)自主飛行,展現實戰應用潛力。
In parallel, Mayman also tested the Razor TBX model, which carried a 23 kg payload and completed an autonomous beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) flight—demonstrating operational readiness for real-world missions.

Mayman 營運長 Daniel Fox 補充,Razor 系列結合了「機動性、自主判斷與高效能」,未來可望成為多用途無人載具的重要平台。
COO Daniel Fox highlighted the Razor lineup as a convergence of mobility, autonomous intelligence, and high-performance architecture, positioning it as a multi-role platform for future operations.

工程團隊也指出,這次測試不僅強化了 Skyfield 系統在精準操控方面的信心,也為未來戰場上的無人機自主作戰鋪平道路。
Engineers noted that the test reinforced confidence in Skyfield’s precision control and laid the groundwork for fully autonomous drone combat operations.

Mayman Aerospace 預計在今年持續推進 Razor 系列的作戰範圍與有效載荷,並對 Skyfield 進行升級,朝「可信賴的戰場AI系統」邁進。
The company plans to expand the Razor series’ operational range and payload capacity in 2025 while upgrading Skyfield to function as a battlefield-reliable AI management system.
