Strengthening Fuselage Manufacturing to Accelerate FQ-42 Production

美國通用原子航空系統公司（GA-ASI）宣布，將與波音旗下的Spirit Defense合作，支援新型FQ-42「復仇者」（Vengeance）協同作戰飛機（CCA）的機身生產。GA-ASI於今年6月獲得美國空軍合約，負責生產FQ-42。此次合作由Spirit Defense擔任機身設計與製造夥伴，結合工程設計及先進製造能力，支援計畫從設計階段推進至實際生產。

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) announced a partnership with Spirit Defense, a Boeing company, to support fuselage production for the new FQ-42 Vengeance Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA). GA-ASI received a U.S. Air Force contract in June to produce the FQ-42. Under the partnership, Spirit Defense will serve as a fuselage design-and-build partner, combining engineering expertise with advanced manufacturing capabilities to support the program from design through production.

GA-ASI自1992年成立以來，一直自行生產旗下無人飛行系統，包括MQ-9A「死神」（Reaper）、MQ-1C「灰鷹」（Gray Eagle）、MQ-20「復仇者」（Avenger），以及MQ-9B「空中衛士」（SkyGuardian）與「海上衛士」（SeaGuardian）。此次引進外部製造夥伴，將有助於擴充產能、加深國防工業基礎，並降低生產過度集中於單一來源的風險，提升FQ-42後續擴大量產的彈性與韌性。

Since its founding in 1992, GA-ASI has been the sole manufacturer of its UAS product line, which includes the MQ-9A Reaper, MQ-1C Gray Eagle, MQ-20 Avenger, and MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian. Bringing Spirit Defense into the FQ-42 program will expand manufacturing capacity and strengthen the industrial base, while reducing reliance on a single production source and improving resilience as CCA output scales up.

GA-ASI總裁David R. Alexander表示，公司已建立FQ-42的設計、研發與製造能力，與Spirit Defense合作後，可進一步提升生產規模與供應韌性，回應美國空軍推動CCA量產擴增的需求。他指出，這類合作模式有助建立可隨需求擴張的產業供應體系，符合美國空軍及美國戰爭部對國防產業的期待。

GA-ASI President David R. Alexander said the company had established proven design, development, and manufacturing capabilities for the FQ-42. Partnering with Spirit Defense will add production capacity and resilience to meet the U.S. Air Force’s CCA ramp-up requirements. He added that such partnerships help build a scalable industrial base sought by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Department of War.

FQ-42是GA-ASI與美國空軍合作開發的專用無人戰鬥機，屬於美軍持續投資新世代半自主作戰飛機的一環。其模組化設計可加快任務系統及自主飛行軟體的整合，提升任務配置彈性。GA-ASI的軟體架構已透過多種飛行平台的實際飛行測試驗證，可作為有人與無人系統在複雜作戰情境中協同運作的技術基礎。

The FQ-42 is a purpose-built uncrewed fighter developed with the U.S. Air Force as part of ongoing investment in next-generation semi-autonomous combat aircraft. Its modular design allows mission systems and autonomy software to be integrated rapidly, providing greater flexibility in mission configuration. GA-ASI’s software architecture has been demonstrated through live flight testing on multiple aircraft platforms, establishing a foundation for human-machine teaming in complex combat environments.

從FQ-42拓展至Gambit系列　布局國際無人戰機市場

Expanding from FQ-42 to the Gambit Series for International Markets

GA-ASI表示，FQ-42的製造合作不會止於美國市場。公司正與多國軍方洽談，評估其模組化Gambit系列協同作戰飛機的合作機會。Gambit系列是由GA-ASI在FQ-42、XQ-67A「外部感測站」（Off-Board Sensing Station）及MQ-20「復仇者」等計畫累積的技術發展而來，旗下無人戰鬥機可依不同任務需求配置。

GA-ASI said its manufacturing partnership opportunities extend beyond the FQ-42 program. The company is in discussions with military organizations around the world interested in its modular Gambit Series of CCAs. The family of uncrewed combat aircraft draws on technologies developed through the FQ-42, XQ-67A Off-Board Sensing Station, and MQ-20 Avenger programs, with configurations tailored to different operational requirements.

Gambit系列的預定任務涵蓋電子作戰、壓制敵方防空系統（SEAD）、摧毀敵方防空系統（DEAD），以及遠距精準打擊等，可因應不斷變化的安全環境。GA-ASI也指出，有意採購Gambit系列的國家，可爭取將本土製造納入計畫，並整合自有感測器、武器及其他作戰技術，藉此提升在地產業參與程度與系統配置自主性。

The Gambit Series is designed for missions including electronic warfare, suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD), destruction of enemy air defenses (DEAD), and stand-off precision strike, offering flexibility for evolving security requirements. Countries interested in acquiring the aircraft may also have opportunities to incorporate domestic manufacturing and integrate their own sensors, weapons, and other combat technologies, increasing local industrial participation and control over mission configurations.
