【中文原文】

中華書道仙宗書道聖師劉騫，以中國正統大篆筆法，親書《道德經》第八章名句：

「上善若水，水善利萬物而不爭，處眾人之所惡，故幾於道。」

敬贈王淺秋女士。

此句出自老子《道德經》，意指最高的善德如水一般，潤澤萬物而不爭名逐利，居於卑下而成萬物之源。

劉騫理事長以渾厚蒼勁之筆，演繹水之柔順與道之剛健，寓意剛柔並濟、以德化人。

【English TranslatioGrandmaster Liu Chien, founder of the Chinese Calligraphy Immortal Sect, inscribed in Large Seal Script the verse from Laozi’s Tao Te Ching, Chapter 8:

“The highest good is like water.

Water benefits all things and does not compete.

It dwells in places that others disdain,

and thus it is close to the Dao.”

and presented it to Ms. Wang Chien-Chiu.

This verse reflects the supreme virtue of humility, service, and harmony with nature.

Grandmaster Liu’s calligraphy embodies the strength of mountains and the gentleness of flowing streams—

a union of firmness and grace, revealing the wisdom of the Dao through brush and ink.
