Boeing（波音公司，NYSE: BA） 與 Virgin Atlantic（維珍大西洋航空） 宣布達成協議，將於該航空公司的 波音787夢幻客機機隊 上進行改裝升級，以導入支援 高頻寬、串流等級的機上Wi-Fi連線服務。

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Virgin Atlantic have agreed to implement connectivity modifications across Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, enhancing onboard internet to high-speed, streaming-quality Wi-Fi for passengers.
The services agreement was officially announced at MRO Europe on October 15.

維珍大西洋航空營運暨顧客服務長 Corneel Koster 表示：「與波音合作，為我們的787機隊導入Starlink新一代連線技術，是實現『空中如家』願景的重要一步。

📡 波音導入ESA天線整流罩　支援多軌道連線

波音將為維珍的787機隊安裝全新設計的 天線整流罩（Aerodynamic Shroud），以搭載 電子掃描相位陣列（Electronically Steered Phased Array, ESA） 天線。
此設計支援 低地球軌道（LEO） 與 多軌道衛星通訊，可提供穩定、高頻寬的全球連線能力。
As part of the modification, Boeing will install a new antenna fairing — the Boeing Aerodynamic Shroud — designed to accommodate Electronically Steered Phased Array (ESA) antennas.
Together with the ESA, the system supports Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and multi-orbit connectivity, enabling fast, reliable broadband access worldwide.
