Bayraktar TB3 Achieves Autonomous Carrier Operations, Marking a New Milestone for Turkish UAV Technology


土耳其無人機製造商Baykar Technologies於2025年4月22日宣布,自主研發的Bayraktar TB3無人作戰機(UCAV)已在兩棲攻擊艦TCG Anadolu上成功完成四次自主起飛與降落。此次測試於薩羅斯灣(Saros Bay)舉行,為艦載無人機自主作戰能力的驗證寫下重要里程碑。

On April 22, 2025, Turkey’s Baykar Technologies officially announced that its domestically developed unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), the Bayraktar TB3, successfully executed four autonomous takeoff and landing operations aboard the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu. The tests, conducted in Saros Bay, represent a critical achievement in validating autonomous carrier-based UAV capabilities.

此次測試中,Bayraktar TB3未使用任何外部著陸輔助系統,完全依靠Baykar自主開發的人工智慧演算法完成起降作業。測試涵蓋不同光照與氣象條件,展現該型無人機於艦載環境中穩定可靠的操作性能。

Throughout the evaluation, the Bayraktar TB3 operated without external landing aids, relying solely on Baykar’s proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms. The trials covered a variety of lighting and weather conditions, demonstrating the UAV’s robust operational reliability in a maritime environment.

Baykar指出,Bayraktar TB3至今累積飛行時數已達1,016小時42分鐘。2023年12月20日,TB3曾創下32小時連續飛行、航程達5,700公里的耐航紀錄,展現其遠程作戰能力。2024年11月19日,TB3亦成為全球首架成功於短跑道艦上起降的無人作戰機。

According to Baykar, the Bayraktar TB3 has logged a total of 1,016 hours and 42 minutes of flight time. On December 20, 2023, the aircraft set a record with a 32-hour continuous flight covering 5,700 kilometers, demonstrating exceptional endurance. Furthermore, on November 19, 2024, the TB3 became the world’s first UCAV to successfully perform carrier operations on a short-deck amphibious ship.

在武裝能力方面,Bayraktar TB3於2025年3月25日與27日完成實彈測試,成功發射由Roketsan研製的UAV-122超音速導彈,精準擊中海軍目標。3月27日,TB3更於低空飛行中摧毀一個6×6公尺的偽裝目標,並與Bayraktar TB2協同作戰,有效驗證兩型無人機的協同作戰能力。

In terms of strike capabilities, the Bayraktar TB3 successfully completed live-fire tests on March 25 and 27, 2025, launching Roketsan-developed UAV-122 supersonic missiles that accurately struck naval targets. During the March 27 trial, the TB3 also conducted a low-altitude attack on a 6×6 meter camouflaged target, operating jointly with the Bayraktar TB2, thereby validating their interoperability in coordinated missions.

在高空性能方面,TB3於2024年6月25日,在埃迪爾內省Keşan的Baykar飛行訓練與測試中心,完成飛行高度36,310英尺的高空飛行測試。TB3搭載由TEI公司研發的PD-170渦輪柴油引擎,為系統性能驗證再添一項成就。

Regarding high-altitude capabilities, the TB3 reached an altitude of 36,310 feet during a test conducted on June 25, 2024, at Baykar’s Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, Edirne Province. Powered by the TEI-developed PD-170 turbodiesel engine, the TB3 further validated its performance parameters during this trial.

此外,在光電偵察能力方面,Bayraktar TB3於2024年3月26日首次搭載由ASELSAN研製的ASELFLIR-500偵察系統,完成飛行整合測試。該系統具備先進的偵察、監視與目標指示能力,在全球同類產品中表現出色。

In addition, on March 26, 2024, the Bayraktar TB3 successfully integrated and operated the ASELFLIR-500 electro-optical reconnaissance system developed by ASELSAN. This advanced system provides superior reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition capabilities, positioning the TB3 among the leading UAVs in its class globally.

Baykar強調,隨著Bayraktar TB3在自主飛行、艦載起降、精確打擊、高空飛行與先進偵察等多項核心技術上持續突破,該公司將持續推動土耳其在全球無人機技術領域的領先地位。

Baykar emphasized that with continuous advancements in autonomous operations, carrier-based deployment, precision strikes, high-altitude flight, and advanced reconnaissance, the Bayraktar TB3 reaffirms Turkey’s growing leadership in the global UAV technology sector.
