無人機智勝人類！AI賽車隊稱霸阿布達比自主競速場

在阿布達比，一場沒有駕駛員的無人機比賽震撼全球，機器大腦正式挑戰人類操作極限。這不只是速度競賽，更是人工智慧與自動化飛行的一次世代躍進。

A drone race without pilots just stunned the world in Abu Dhabi. This wasn't just about speed—it was a next-gen showdown between artificial intelligence and human reflexes.

這場由阿布達比先進技術研究委員會（ATRC）與無人機冠軍聯盟（DCL）共同主辦的「A2RL x DCL自主無人機錦標賽」，不僅是中東首場，也是目前全球技術難度最高的自主飛行挑戰。

Jointly organized by ATRC and the Drone Champions League, the A2RL x DCL Autonomous Drone Championship became the most technically demanding AI drone race ever held in the Middle East.

在最受矚目的「AI 對戰人類」挑戰賽中，來自荷蘭代爾夫特理工大學的 MavLab 團隊開發的無人機，以精準演算與高速操控擊敗全球頂尖人類飛手，奪下勝利。

The highlight? MavLab’s AI drone—developed by researchers from TU Delft—outflew one of the world’s top human pilots in the ultimate "AI vs Human" race.

賽道長達170公尺，設有22個高難度閘門。MavLab的無人機僅花17秒就完成兩圈，速度超過每小時150公里，完全依靠自身AI做出即時反應與路徑規劃。

On a 170-meter track filled with 22 tricky gates, the AI drone clocked two laps in just 17 seconds—reaching speeds over 150 km/h, powered solely by onboard AI with no human intervention.

參賽隊伍來自全球11個國家，包括阿聯酋、韓國、美國、捷克與西班牙等，代表著不同國家的大學、研究機構及創新團隊。他們操控的無人機全部配備 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 模組與感測裝置，進行自主決策。

Representing 11 countries, teams from labs and startups raced with standardized drones equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX modules and perception systems for fully autonomous flying.

賽道設計極具挑戰性：不規則燈光、簡化視覺標記、捲簾式快門相機，對AI決策與感知精度提出極高要求。這是目前最貼近真實應用場景的無人機自主測試。

With minimal visual cues, erratic lighting, and rolling-shutter cameras, the track pushed the boundaries of what AI drones can perceive and respond to in real-time—closer than ever to real-world challenges.

「這場比賽是我們多年研究的成果驗證，」MavLab 負責人 Christophe De Wagter 表示，「能在高壓環境下擊敗人類選手，對我們來說是巨大的里程碑。」

“This is a milestone moment for our years of research,” said Christophe De Wagter of MavLab. “Seeing our algorithm dominate under pressure—and win prize money—was incredibly rewarding.”

除了技術比拼，本次賽事還設有由聯合國兒童基金會與ATRC合作的STEM教育計畫。今年已有超過100名阿聯酋學生完成無人機訓練，其中24人更以滿分成績通過操作員考核，展現了未來飛行家的潛力。

Beyond the race, a STEM initiative trained over 100 Emirati students in drone tech, with 24 scoring perfect operator marks—paving the way for the next generation of aerial innovators.

隨著第一季完美落幕，A2RL團隊宣布第二季將在2025年底於阿布達比Yas Marina 賽道登場，預告自主駕駛技術將正式進軍地面競速領域。

Season one has ended with a bang—but all eyes now turn to 2025, when A2RL heads to Yas Marina for an autonomous ground racing series, bringing AI competition to the asphalt.
