美國新型「地獄犬」無人機進入量產階段,強化前線打擊能力

美國阿拉巴馬州的卡明斯航太公司(Cummings Aerospace)宣布,其開發的「地獄犬」(Hellhound)無人機已準備進入低速量產階段,並將參與美國陸軍的低空潛伏打擊彈藥(LASSO)計畫。

 

這款重量不到11.3公斤的無人機,採用渦輪噴射引擎和3D列印技術製造,能以超過每小時560公里的速度飛行,並在使用50%燃料的情況下飛行超過20公里。 

 

卡明斯航太公司已在阿拉巴馬州亨茨維爾附近建立了新的生產設施,並達到製造準備等級7(MRL 7),意味著已建立明確的生產流程和工作指導。

 

此外,該公司與ATRX合作,計劃開發具備超音速和高超音速能力的無人機,進一步提升美軍的打擊能力。

U.S. Advances Frontline Strike Capabilities with New ‘Hellhound’ Drone Entering Production

Cummings Aerospace, based in Alabama, has announced that its “Hellhound” drone is ready for low-rate production and will participate in the U.S. Army’s Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO) program.

 

Weighing less than 25 pounds, the drone utilizes turbojet propulsion and 3D printing technology, achieving speeds over 350 mph and covering distances beyond 20 kilometers using only 50% of its fuel. 

 

The company has established a new production facility near Huntsville, Alabama, reaching Manufacturing Readiness Level 7 (MRL 7), indicating a defined production workflow and work instructions.

 

Additionally, Cummings Aerospace is collaborating with ATRX to develop drones capable of supersonic and hypersonic speeds, further enhancing the U.S. military’s strike capabilities.
