中正大學通識中心規定，中正大學學生要在畢業之前做完十六小時的社會服務學習，並且在學校內聽完兩場通識中心所認證的講座，但是強制規定的情況下，也造成了某些學生的反彈，學校對服務學習的宗旨與學生們的困惑，讓兩方都爭議不斷。
