「氫」撐全場!台灣研發燃料電池無人機挑戰高山與跨海任務

台灣工研院近日宣布,其自研燃料電池無人機技術已成功通過多項實測,不僅展現長續航力,還完成高山與跨海任務,證明氫燃料驅動無人機的實戰應用潛力。
Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has achieved a milestone with its hydrogen fuel cell drones, proving their capability through long-range, high-altitude, and overwater mission tests.

無人機發展日新月異,但續航力一直是限制其拓展應用的最大瓶頸。傳統鋰電池飛行時間短、酬載能力有限,難以應對醫療運輸、農業偵查或長距離投遞等任務。
While drones are evolving rapidly, battery endurance remains a key limitation. Lithium-powered UAVs often struggle with heavy payloads and extended missions like medical delivery or agricultural surveillance.

工研院以氫燃料電池為突破口,研發高能量密度、零碳排的電力系統,大幅提升飛行時間與效能。其30公斤級氫燃料電池無人機,已通過民航局三項實體審查,並成功挑戰多項實境任務。
To address this, ITRI developed a high-density, zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell system. Their 30kg-class drone passed Taiwan's aviation certification and has completed real-world trials under demanding conditions.

這款無人機不僅成功來回飛行澎湖至東吉嶼(88公里),更完成烏石港至龜山島(23公里)、武陵高山物資投遞(3,200公尺海拔)等高難度任務,航程與穩定度均遠超一般電池機型。
The hydrogen drone completed missions such as a round-trip from Magong to Dongji Islet (88 km), a supply drop to Wuling mountain shelter at 3,200 meters, and a 23-km flight to Turtle Island—outperforming battery drones in endurance and stability.

其核心技術在於混成電力系統,將氫燃料電池與鋰電池整合並藉由智慧電能管理模組調配能量,確保飛行時效與系統穩定運作。
Its hybrid power system combines hydrogen fuel cells with lithium batteries, regulated by a smart energy management module that ensures seamless operation and efficient power distribution during flight.

工研院亦與國內企業成立「燃料電池與無人機整合聯盟」,專注推動材料、電堆、控制系統與應用推廣,構建完整產業鏈,打造台灣無人機產業新優勢。
ITRI also launched the “Fuel Cell & UAV Integration Alliance” with domestic partners to strengthen the full value chain—from materials and stacks to control systems—positioning Taiwan at the forefront of green UAV innovation.

隨著全球邁向淨零排放,氫能技術正逐漸成為無人機動力的最佳選擇。工研院的成果,不僅是技術突破,更為台灣無人機產業開啟全新綠色航線。
As nations push toward net-zero targets, hydrogen emerges as a prime energy source. ITRI’s hydrogen-powered drone marks not only a tech leap but also a blueprint for sustainable UAV development in Taiwan.
