美國戰爭部近日宣布，將向美國「獅鷲航太」（Griffon Aerospace）採購「法外之徒」（Outlaw）系列無人機系統、相關支援設備及服務，藉此擴充低成本無人機裝備量能，並加速提升部隊應對未來潛在衝突的作戰能力。

The US Department of War has announced plans to procure Outlaw unmanned aircraft systems, associated support equipment, and services from US-based Griffon Aerospace. The procurement is intended to expand the military’s inventory of low-cost unmanned aircraft and accelerate its ability to respond to potential future conflicts.

$133 Million IDIQ Contract Marks Another US Procurement

此次訂單採「不定期交貨／不確定數量」（IDIQ）模式，合約總額約1.33億美元（約新臺幣42.2億元）。這也是美軍繼今年6月以6800萬美元採購「法外之徒3型」無人機後，再度採購該系列裝備。雖然此次並未公布採購數量與具體型號，但連續採購仍凸顯「法外之徒」具備低成本、易於量產及快速交付等特性，已獲得美軍重視。

The latest order is structured under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a total ceiling of approximately $133 million. It follows the US military’s $68 million procurement of the Outlaw 3 unmanned aircraft in June. Although the latest announcement did not disclose the quantity or specific variant being acquired, the repeated purchases highlight the military’s interest in the Outlaw’s low cost, ease of production, and rapid delivery.

從低成本靶機出發 任務用途逐步擴大

From Low-Cost Target Drone to Broader Combat Applications

「法外之徒」最初源自MQM-170系列，主要作為低成本靶機使用，支援實彈射擊、飛彈測試及戰術評估等任務。不過，美軍今年6月宣布採購最新衍生型「法外之徒3型」時，曾強調將投入對伊朗「史詩怒火」（Epic Fury）作戰行動，顯示其任務定位可能已逐步擴大。除了傳統靶機用途外，該系列無人機也可能被運用於雷達誘標、電子戰干擾等實戰任務，為美軍提供更多元的低成本無人作戰選項。

The Outlaw originally evolved from the MQM-170 series and was primarily developed as a low-cost target drone for live-fire exercises, missile testing, and tactical evaluations. However, when the US military announced its procurement of the latest Outlaw 3 variant in June, it said the system would be employed in Operation Epic Fury against Iran, suggesting that its operational role may be expanding. In addition to its traditional target-drone missions, the platform could also be used for radar decoy and electronic warfare jamming missions, providing the US military with more diverse low-cost unmanned capabilities.

擴充低成本無人機庫存 加速形成戰力

報導指出，此次合約主要目的在於加速擴充美軍低成本無人機裝備庫存，以因應未來潛在軍事衝突。後續將由位於阿拉巴馬州亨茲市紅石兵工廠（Redstone Arsenal）的美國陸軍合約司令部負責管理，並依照合約框架於未來數月開始接收新生產裝備，預計在今年12月31日前完成合約，進一步加速相關無人機戰力形成。

The contract is intended to rapidly expand the US military’s inventory of low-cost unmanned aircraft in preparation for potential future conflicts. It will be managed by the US Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, with newly produced equipment expected to begin delivery under the contract framework in the coming months. The contract is scheduled for completion by December 31 this year, supporting the accelerated fielding of the capability.
