英國暴風戰機測試機造型首曝！三年內首飛　成第六代空優戰機關鍵跳板

在全球新世代戰機研發進入白熱化階段之際，由英國、義大利與日本共同主導的「全球空戰計畫」（GCAP）傳出重大進展。英國BAE Systems於7月17日首度公布GCAP測試機外觀渲染圖，並證實該原型機的實體結構生產作業已全面展開，預計最快2027年首飛，成為未來「暴風（Tempest）」六代機的技術基礎。

On July 17, BAE Systems unveiled the first rendering of its GCAP test aircraft, confirming that two-thirds of the demonstrator’s structure is already under production — with first flight expected by 2027.

這是英國40年來首度主導的戰機設計案，意味著英國航太工業重返高端戰術飛機自主研發行列。根據官方公布的造型，測試機外觀在整體線條與進氣口位置上類似F-35系列戰機，但採雙發動機布局、取消水平尾翼，呈現出更具匿蹤導向的輪廓。

This marks the UK's first indigenous fighter development effort in four decades, with the design bearing resemblance to the F-35 but featuring a twin-engine configuration and tailless planform.

BAE表示，測試機將搭載2具EJ200渦扇發動機，與現役颱風戰機同型，意味著推力將高於F-35所採的單發設計，且有利於進一步驗證機身冷卻與高速機動性能。

值得注意的是，機翼結構出現LERX（翼根延伸設計），與先前暴風概念圖中的三角翼有顯著差異，顯示測試機可能專注於某一階段的氣動測試任務。此外，機尾方形輪廓與平坦背部機身設計可能有助於紅外與雷達訊號匿蹤。

The rectangular engine nozzles and flatter upper fuselage likely enhance infrared and radar signature reduction, signaling stealth-focused priorities in GCAP development.

機首採寬大設計，預留整合新型有源相控陣雷達（AESA）空間，但駕駛艙座艙罩偏小，似未特別強化後方視野，進一步表明該機將大量依賴感測器融合與AI戰場資訊管理技術。

The compact canopy and broad nose suggest sensor-centric design, where AI and sensor fusion may compensate for traditional pilot visibility limitations.

英國皇家空軍期望GCAP平台能達成兩倍於F-35的掛載能力，同時具備極遠航程，未來甚至能直接從英國本土飛越大西洋執行任務，擺脫空中加油依賴。這種續航與載荷配置，顯示GCAP定位為「重型、多用途、聯合任務平台」。

RAF envisions the Tempest fighter to carry twice the payload of the F-35 and fly intercontinental distances without refueling — redefining what sixth-generation endurance means.

BAE系統研發主管戈柏德（Tony Godbold）透露，該測試機將大量使用3D列印、機器人組裝與數位雙生模擬進行製造，目前三分之二機體正在蘭開夏郡沃頓工廠生產，未來將作為整合機體、推進、氣動與匿蹤驗證的綜合平台。

“Digital engineering, additive manufacturing and automation are core to this testbed’s construction,” BAE stated, underlining how GCAP is as much about how to build the future fighter as what to build.
