Embraer宣布，已完成巴西陸軍2套SABER M60雷達升級至2.0版本，並將持續依合約推動共8套系統的現役翻新計畫，以維持防空砲兵部隊作戰能力。

Embraer announced it has completed the upgrade of two SABER M60 radars operated by the Brazilian Army to version 2.0, as part of an ongoing contract to modernize eight systems and sustain air defense artillery capabilities.

Brazilian Army製造總監Tales Eduardo Areco Villela表示，升級後的M60雷達已投入運作，整體性能明顯提升，與Embraer的合作對於建立與維持新一代作戰能力至關重要，並有助於強化國家主權防衛。

Major General Tales Eduardo Areco Villela of the Brazilian Army stated that the upgraded M60 radars are already operational, with improved performance. He emphasized that collaboration with Embraer is essential for maintaining capabilities and strengthening national sovereignty.

Douglas Lobo指出，此次升級屬於中期延壽計畫，透過技術通告（Service Bulletin）導入最新技術標準，使系統在可靠性、可用性與作戰效能上均獲得顯著提升，並確保全壽期內裝備標準一致。

Douglas Lobo, Vice President at Embraer Services & Support, noted that the upgrade represents a mid-life modernization effort, incorporating the latest technological standards to improve reliability, availability, and operational performance while ensuring lifecycle standardization.

軟硬體同步強化　提升抗干擾與操作效率

Hardware and Software Enhancements Boost Resilience and Usability

除硬體升級外，SABER M60亦導入多項軟體改良，包括更強化的訊號處理演算法、提升抗干擾能力，以及重新設計的人機操作介面，使其在複雜作戰環境中更易操作。

In addition to hardware upgrades, the SABER M60 received major software enhancements, including improved signal-processing algorithms, greater resistance to interference, and a redesigned user interface for easier operation in complex environments.

3D雷達可追蹤60目標　整合多層防空系統

3D Radar Tracks 60 Targets and Integrates with Air Defense Networks

SABER M60由Embraer與巴西陸軍共同研發，屬於低空監視與射控雷達，探測距離可達60公里，並可同時追蹤最多60個目標；可整合飛彈或防空砲系統，並與Brazilian Aerospace Defense System等防空網路連結。

Developed jointly by Embraer and the Brazilian Army, the SABER M60 is a 3D low-altitude surveillance and fire-control radar with a range of up to 60 km, capable of tracking up to 60 targets simultaneously. It can be integrated with missile or gun-based air defense systems and linked to networks such as SISDABRA.

低截收機率技術　提升戰場生存能力

LPI Technology Enhances Survivability in Combat

該系統亦具備低截收機率（LPI）技術，可降低遭敵方偵測與干擾的風險，提升戰術環境下的生存能力；加上機動性高、部署快速，已成為巴西陸軍低空防空體系的重要核心裝備。

The system incorporates LPI technology, reducing the likelihood of detection and jamming by adversaries. Combined with high mobility and rapid deployment, it serves as a key component of the Brazilian Army’s low-altitude air defense network.
