Boeing [NYSE: BA], in partnership with Southwest Airlines (SWA) and Aeroxchange Ltd., has successfully completed the aerospace industry’s first-ever shipment of parts accompanied by a digital FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate. This milestone represents a major advancement in aviation supply chain security by preventing unapproved spare parts from entering the aftermarket.

📜 電子8130-3證書：取代紙本、強化安全

FAA Form 8130-3 為美國聯邦航空總署授權的零件適航證明，傳統上以紙本發行。波音領導開發的數位版本，採用加密檔案格式，可驗證簽署者身份並確保文件完整性。
此次首批運送包含一具經波音佛州 Davie修復中心 維修的電池，透過 Aeroxchange eARC™ 平台 傳輸，西南航空於達拉斯接收並完成電子驗證。

The FAA Form 8130-3 certifies the airworthiness of aircraft parts and components. Boeing’s new digital 8130 certificate replaces paper with a secure, encrypted electronic file that validates the authorized signer’s identity and ensures document integrity.
The inaugural shipment—a battery serviced at Boeing’s Davie, Florida repair center—was transmitted via the Aeroxchange eARC™ platform and received by Southwest Airlines in Dallas, where its authenticity was verified digitally.

Boeing plans to deploy the digital 8130 certificate across all nine of its product repair services centers, pending FAA authorization for electronic signatures and recordkeeping.
The initiative aligns with the Aviation Supply Chain Integrity Coalition (ASCIC)’s key recommendations. Boeing, Southwest Airlines, and Aeroxchange are active members of this cross-industry coalition dedicated to maintaining supply chain authenticity.
