波蘭國防部於2025年5月15日與本地防務公司 WB Group 簽署框架協議，計劃至2035年交付約10,000架 Warmate 滯空彈藥無人機，成為該國歷史上最大規模的無人機採購案。

WB Group 近年來持續擴展其無人機產品線，包括 Warmate TL-R 偵察系統、FT5 迷你戰術無人機、Warmate 20 和 Warmate 50 滯空彈藥等。

Poland: Massive Warmate Drone Procurement

On May 15, 2025, the Polish Ministry of National Defence signed a framework agreement with local defense firm WB Group to deliver around 10,000 Warmate loitering munitions by 2035 — the largest drone procurement in the country’s history.

In recent years, WB Group has expanded its UAV product line to include the Warmate TL-R reconnaissance system, the FT5 mini tactical drone, and the Warmate 20 and Warmate 50 loitering munitions.

Additionally, in December 2024, the Polish government signed a contract valued at approximately $310 million for an undisclosed number of MQ-9B Sky Guardian drones, expected to be delivered in Q1 of 2027.

Romania: Investing in Drone Development

Romania’s Minister of Economy announced in May 2025 that the country is accelerating the development of its drone technologies. Romania aims to co-develop and produce UAV systems with international partners to boost its defense capabilities.
