In a striking demonstration of battlefield innovation, a Ukrainian unmanned surface vessel (USV) equipped with an R-73 air-to-air missile shot down a Russian Su-30 fighter jet, some 50 kilometers off the coast of Novorossiysk — the first known incident of its kind in military history.
