Following on after the aftermath of Typhoon Morakot, a group of university students have come together from all over Taiwan and organized the‘Dream of Tsou Tribe Volunteer Group’, in order to help students from the Tsou tribe to deal with the problems caused by the Typhoon Morokot disaster.  It was evident that many of the Tribal students were suffering from apathy, low self-esteem and felt rudderless with no direction forward in life. The volunteer group came up with the ‘Hunting a New Future’ plan, which includes a cycling tour of Taiwan, summer camp, video diaries and other activities, which are not merely intended to provide fun but to rekindle the fire of hope and positivity in the children, helping them to face the future with courage and a positive mental attitude.

八八水災後，一群來自各縣市的大學生與研究生組成「夢想之鄒志工團」，幫阿里山鄒族學生課輔，他們發現受水災影響的鄒族學生有被動、沒自信、對未來沒有方向等問題，因此提出「手獵飛行」計畫，包括單車環島、大學體驗營、影像文字紀錄等活動，      這一趟旅行不是單純的出遊玩樂，而是希望點燃孩子們心中的火，讓孩子養成主動積極的態度面對未來。
