勁蜂四型攻擊型無人機月底赴美實測 射程千公里布局外銷市場

中科院與美國航太防務廠商合作,將既有無人靶機平台改裝為攻擊型無人機的「勁蜂四型」,其作戰航程可達1000公里。軍政人士透露,相關單位已規劃於本月下旬在美國進行實地測試,若測評結果符合雙方需求,將可進入量產前整備階段,並在特別預算通過後即刻啟動量產作業。

The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST), in cooperation with a U.S. aerospace defense contractor, has developed the “Chien Feng IV” attack drone by modifying an existing unmanned target drone platform. According to military sources, the system, with an operational range of up to 1,000 kilometers, is scheduled for live testing in the United States later this month. If evaluation results meet bilateral requirements, the program will move into pre-production preparations, allowing mass production to commence immediately once the special budget is approved.


MQM-178平台性能基礎 末段攻擊動能具優勢

作為改裝基礎的MQM-178無人靶機,全長3.3公尺、翼展1.9公尺,最大飛行速度約0.69馬赫,最遠航程同樣可達1000公里。該型靶機原本用於模擬次音速飛機與貼海飛行反艦飛彈,其另一項性能特點為最大飛行高度可達3萬5000英尺。由高空轉入對地攻擊時,末段速度可接近音速,配合中科院整合的30公斤高性能彈頭,可形成強大攻擊動能。

The MQM-178 unmanned target drone, which serves as the base platform, measures 3.3 meters in length with a wingspan of 1.9 meters. It has a maximum speed of approximately Mach 0.69 and a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers. Originally designed to simulate subsonic aircraft and sea-skimming anti-ship missiles, the platform can also operate at altitudes of up to 35,000 feet. When transitioning from high-altitude flight to terminal attack, its speed can approach supersonic levels, and when combined with a 30-kilogram high-performance warhead integrated by NCSIST, it delivers significant kinetic impact.


與雄昇飛彈形成高低配 降低整體成本

軍政人士指出,國造「雄昇」飛彈目前已完成量產,作戰射程約1000至1200公里,但單位成本相對較高。未來「勁蜂四型」攻擊型無人機可作為成本較低的補充選項,與雄昇飛彈形成高低搭配運用,強化整體嚇阻與作戰彈性。

According to military sources, the domestically produced “Hsiung Sheng” missile has completed mass production and offers an operational range of approximately 1,000 to 1,200 kilometers, though at a relatively higher unit cost. The Chien Feng IV attack drone, with lower production costs, is expected to complement the missile system, providing a layered force structure to enhance deterrence and operational flexibility.


納入軍事特別預算規劃 待立院審議推動量產

軍政人士表示,「勁蜂四型」攻擊型無人機為1.25兆元軍事特別預算規劃項目之一。若相關特別條例草案順利完成付委與審查,國防部及行政院將隨後向立法院提出載明具體軍購與國內量產項目及經費的特別預算草案,以加速國防戰備整備進程。

Military officials noted that the Chien Feng IV attack drone is included among the programs proposed under the NT$1.25 trillion special military budget. Should the special statute pass committee review and legislative deliberation, the Ministry of National Defense and the Executive Yuan will submit a detailed special budget to the Legislative Yuan, outlining procurement and domestic production projects along with allocated funding, in order to expedite defense readiness efforts.


機體沿用原設計 關鍵系統全面MIT

在系統組成方面,軍政人士指出,勁蜂四型沿用MQM-178無人靶機所使用的現行引擎與基本機體設計,但機體製造、目標影像導引系統(EO/IR)及導控等關鍵組件,皆由台灣本土廠商生產,確保核心技術自主。

Regarding system configuration, sources explained that the Chien Feng IV retains the MQM-178’s existing engine and airframe design. However, airframe manufacturing, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) target guidance systems, and command-and-control components are all produced domestically in Taiwan, ensuring local industrial participation and technological autonomy.


由美方負責外銷 爭取國際訂單

由於採取與美國廠商合作模式,勁蜂四型在國際武器系統市場具備一定競爭優勢。除滿足台灣防衛需求外,未來將由合作的美方公司負責國際市場行銷與爭取出口訂單。

Developed through cooperation with a U.S. company, the Chien Feng IV is considered competitive in the international defense systems market. Beyond meeting Taiwan’s own defense requirements, the U.S. partner will be responsible for overseas marketing and pursuing export opportunities.


中科院持續拓展國際合作

近年來,中科院積極與多家國際防務科技新創企業展開合作,除先前在反甲無人機、AI指管決策平台與無人載具等領域簽署合作備忘錄外,也透過與美國廠商的合作,推動MQM-178平台轉型為長程攻擊型無人機。

In recent years, NCSIST has actively expanded cooperation with international defense technology startups. In addition to previous agreements covering anti-armor drones, AI-enabled command-and-control decision platforms, and unmanned systems, the institute has also partnered with U.S. firms to transform the MQM-178 platform into a long-range attack drone.
