美國海軍航空系統指揮部（NAVAIR）近日公開影像，證實 MQ-9A 無人機 已掛載最新型 通訊傳輸莢艙 與 電戰支援莢艙，可在單一平台上同時執行 通訊中繼、情報蒐集與電子戰 任務，進一步強化在 印太戰場 的多域作戰能力。

The US Navy’s NAVAIR has unveiled images of an MQ-9A equipped with cutting-edge communications and electronic warfare pods — enabling multi-domain missions in the vast Indo-Pacific theater.

🔹 SkyTower II：戰場上的「數位四分衛」

左翼掛載的 SkyTower II 是先進通訊莢艙，具備遠距資料傳輸與即時情報共享能力，讓 MQ-9 能扮演 「數位化四分衛」（Digital Quarterback），在偵察、監視與情報（ISR）任務中，協調各作戰單位並傳遞戰場態勢。

Acting as a digital quarterback, SkyTower II allows the Reaper to coordinate ISR missions and relay battlefield data across dispersed forces.

🔹 RDESS/SOAR：隱形電戰之眼

右翼掛載的 RDESS/SOAR 莢艙，整合電子戰支援措施（ESM），可精準偵測與定位敵方電磁訊號，並在反制探測的同時回傳情資，強化己方戰場覺知。

RDESS/SOAR enhances electromagnetic detection and geolocation, providing the US military with superior situational awareness while denying enemy sensors.

🔹 未知機腹莢艙：多任務擴展潛力

機腹下方掛載的未知型莢艙，顯示 MQ-9 平台具備彈性掛載空間，可依任務需求整合更多功能模組，從 海域覺知（MDA） 到 空中早期預警（AEW），再到電子支援（ES）與通訊中繼，實現單機多任務。

The underbelly pod hints at future flexibility, enabling roles from maritime domain awareness to airborne early warning — all on a single platform.

🔹 適配 EABO 的長航時利器

憑藉 長達數十小時的滯空能力，MQ-9A 搭配新型莢艙將成為美海軍陸戰隊 遠征前進基地作戰（EABO） 的關鍵支柱，能在島鏈環境中持續提供情報與戰場連結，確保分散部隊依舊具備協同火力。

With endurance measured in dozens of hours, the upgraded Reaper is tailor-made for EABO, linking dispersed forces across the Pacific with persistent ISR and EW support.
