美無人機Anduril創辦人現身台灣 中科院洽談AI軍事合作!

美國軍工新創公司Anduril創辦人帕默・拉奇今(4)日訪台,在人工智慧學校發表演說,介紹AI指管平台與無人機戰場應用,引起產官學界熱烈關注。
Palmer Luckey, founder of U.S. defense-tech unicorn Anduril Industries, visited Taiwan today and delivered a keynote speech on battlefield AI and autonomous drone systems at the Taiwan AI Academy.
拉奇指出,AI的快速學習與自動決策能力,正深刻改變軍事行動的節奏與風貌。
Luckey emphasized that AI’s ability to rapidly learn and automate decisions is revolutionizing the pace and nature of military operations.
不過,演講現場也出現不同聲音。幾位台大學生舉牌抗議,質疑「軍火商不該進入校園」。拉奇則回應,他曾是遊戲硬體開發者,如今選擇將科技導入國防,是出於對自由與安全的責任感。
Outside the venue, several university students protested, opposing the presence of "arms dealers" on campus. Luckey responded by recalling his past as the creator of Oculus, stressing that his pivot to defense was driven by a sense of duty to safeguard freedom and security.
值得注意的是,中山科學研究院已與Anduril簽署合作備忘錄(MOU),評估其AI指管平台Lattice與我國「銳指系統」的整合潛力。
Taiwan’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) has signed an MOU with Anduril to explore the integration of its Lattice AI command platform with Taiwan’s indigenous “Sharp Command” system.
中科院長李世強今日親率多位航電單位主管出席會場,顯示對AI軍事應用佈局的高度重視。
NCSIST President Lee Shih-Chiang led key aerospace and electronic system officials to attend the event, signaling the institute’s serious commitment to AI-driven defense transformation.
論壇中,拉奇亦點出可透過「商售轉軍」模式,使美製無人機更快交付台灣,再由本土加裝彈藥模組轉化為軍用,作為傳統軍售流程的替代方案。
Luckey also proposed a “commercial-to-military” export pathway: allowing U.S. drones to be shipped to Taiwan under commercial terms, then retrofitted locally for military use, bypassing long delays in traditional Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
與此同時,台灣軍方正在推動史上最大無人機採購案,預計採購近5萬架、總價逾500億新台幣。與此次美方交流時機接近,引發外界關注。
Coincidentally, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense recently announced a procurement plan for nearly 50,000 drones valued at NT$50 billion, a timeline that closely aligns with Anduril’s visit.
中科院內部也對Lattice系統在跨域任務分配、資料融合方面的應用潛力表現出濃厚興趣,未來雙方是否深化合作備受矚目。
There is strong internal interest at NCSIST regarding Lattice’s potential in cross-domain task management and sensor-data fusion. Whether this will evolve into deeper collaboration remains to be seen.
