【PeoPo / Taipei】Taiwanese producer and artist Lucas Lu has received the Bronze Medal in the Producer category at the internationally respected 2025 Global Music Awards (GMA) for his genre-defying Buddhist single SCORN. This recognition places Lucas among a distinguished group of global artists celebrated for their innovation, authenticity, and musical impact.

The Global Music Awards is widely recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious honors for independent and world music creators. With a strong focus on artistic integrity and innovation, the GMA jury celebrates musicians who challenge the boundaries of genre and tradition—often identifying talents who later receive GRAMMY or Oscar nominations. Being selected by such a discerning panel signifies a deep acknowledgment of creative vision over commercial convention.

Lucas Lu’s SCORN is an immersive sonic work that blends Buddhist mantra, and ambient minimalism to form a meditative yet emotionally intense experience. The piece reimagines spiritual music through a contemporary lens, while retaining its ritualistic and introspective depth. The project was produced under the music label WhoSangMusic (registered as HU FU ENTERTAINMENT CO., LTD.) and distributed globally via Believe Music.
