北韓官方媒體「北韓中央通信社」（KCNA）今日報導，北韓領導人金正恩近期視察了一款搭載人工智慧（AI）技術的自殺無人機，並強調無人控制與AI技術將成為現代武器發展的核心。

North Korean state media KCNA reported today that leader Kim Jong-un recently inspected a suicide drone equipped with artificial intelligence (AI). He emphasized that unmanned systems and AI capabilities must be the top priority in modern weapons development.

報導指出，金正恩還親自檢視了一款新型偵察無人機，該機具備對陸地及海上各類戰術目標的偵測與監視能力。

The report added that Kim also reviewed a newly upgraded reconnaissance drone capable of detecting various tactical targets on land and at sea.

值得注意的是，北韓此次首次公開展示其空中預警機（AEW），這對於強化其現有的防空系統具有重要意義。

Notably, North Korea has unveiled its first airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft, marking a significant step in strengthening its air defense capabilities.

北韓中央通信社發布的照片顯示，金正恩步上階梯，登上了一架配備四具發動機的大型飛機，該機機身上明顯可見安裝的雷達罩，並進行了低空飛行測試。

KCNA released photos showing Kim Jong-un ascending the stairs to board a large four-engine aircraft with a prominent radar dome installed on its fuselage. The aircraft was also observed conducting a low-altitude flight test.

外界分析認為，這架空中預警機可能是由俄製伊留申Il-76型運輸機改裝而來。根據倫敦國際戰略研究所（IISS）2023年9月的報告，北韓長期依賴陸基雷達，但由於朝鮮半島多山的地形限制，這類飛機將有助於提高北韓的空中預警能力。

Analysts suggest that the aircraft may have been modified from a Russian-made Ilyushin Il-76 transport plane. According to a September 2023 report by the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), North Korea has traditionally relied on ground-based radars, but these aircraft could significantly enhance its early warning capabilities, particularly given the mountainous terrain of the Korean Peninsula.

報告進一步指出，雖然這類空中預警機有助於追蹤低空飛行的飛機與巡弋飛彈，但僅憑一架恐難發揮決定性作用，因此北韓可能會拆解其他貨機以改裝更多類似機型。

The report further noted that while such AEW aircraft could improve tracking of low-flying aircraft and cruise missiles, a single unit is unlikely to be sufficient. As a result, North Korea may resort to dismantling other cargo planes to modify additional AEW aircraft.
