NASA證實，「獵戶座」（Orion）太空船於美東時間10日晚間順利降落加州外海，在USS Mesa Verde (LPD-19)（莫沙號）支援下，成功接回4名太空人，宣告「阿提米絲2號」（Artemis II）載人繞月任務正式完成。

NASA confirmed that the Orion spacecraft splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off California on the evening of the 10th (EDT). Supported by the USS Mesa Verde, all four astronauts were safely recovered, marking the successful completion of the Artemis II crewed lunar mission.

高速重返大氣層　通訊中斷考驗順利通過

High-Speed Reentry and Communication Blackout Successfully Managed

NASA表示，「誠信號」在完成繞月任務後返航，於美東時間10日19時53分（台灣時間11日7時53分）進入大氣層，最高時速達3.8萬公里，艙體外溫高達攝氏2760度，並出現約6分鐘的通訊中斷現象。

NASA stated that the Orion spacecraft reentered Earth’s atmosphere at 7:53 p.m. EDT on the 10th (7:53 a.m. Taiwan time on the 11th), traveling at speeds of up to 38,000 km/h. External temperatures reached approximately 2,760°C, and a communication blackout lasting about six minutes occurred as expected.

儘管環境極端，太空船隔熱系統運作正常，並依程序開啟3具降落傘減速，最終於台灣時間上午8時7分濺落海面；隨後由待命艦艇派出小艇與直升機展開回收行動。

Despite extreme conditions, the spacecraft’s heat shield performed as designed. Three parachutes deployed successfully, slowing the capsule before splashdown at approximately 8:07 a.m. Taiwan time. Recovery teams then deployed boats and helicopters to retrieve the crew.

MH-60S Seahawk直升機隨後進行吊掛作業，將4名太空人安全接回兩棲船塢運輸艦，完成整體回收程序，展現跨軍種太空任務支援能力。

An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter conducted hoist operations to safely recover the four astronauts and return them to the amphibious transport dock, demonstrating effective joint military support for space missions.

打破最遠載人飛行紀錄　重啟人類登月序幕

Record-Breaking Distance Signals New Era of Lunar Exploration

為期10天的「阿提米絲2號」任務，是人類時隔半世紀再次執行載人繞月飛行。任務期間，太空船曾抵達距地球約40萬6778公里，刷新人類最遠飛行紀錄。

The 10-day Artemis II mission marks humanity’s first crewed lunar flyby in decades. During the mission, the spacecraft reached a distance of approximately 406,778 kilometers from Earth, setting a new record for the farthest human spaceflight.

Jared Isaacman也親自登艦迎接Reid Wiseman、Victor Glover、Christina Koch與Jeremy Hansen等4名太空人，為任務畫下句點。

蒐集逾7000張影像　推進科學與醫學研究

NASA指出，本次任務共拍攝超過7000張月球表面影像，有助於分析月球地形與天文環境變化；此外，太空人亦執行多項科學實驗，蒐集人體在微重力與太空輻射環境下的關鍵數據。

NASA reported that the mission captured over 7,000 images of the lunar surface, providing valuable data for analyzing lunar geography and space environment dynamics. Astronauts also conducted scientific experiments, gathering critical data on human responses to microgravity and radiation.

此次任務成果，將為後續登月計畫提供重要科學與技術基礎，進一步推動人類重返月球的進程。
