【巴黎航展現場報導】立陶宛國防部在巴黎航展宣布，正式選擇由巴西航空工業公司（Embraer）研發生產的C-390「Millennium千禧鯨」中型軍用運輸機作為其新一代空運主力機種。首批將採購三架，未來並將展開更深層次的產業合作計畫。
[Le Bourget, Paris] During the Paris Air Show, the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania announced its strategic decision to acquire three units of Embraer’s C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, marking a major step toward reinforcing its air mobility and interoperability with NATO forces.

「我們經過充分市場調查與技術評估，確認C-390 Millennium是最能滿足立陶宛國防作戰需求的平台。」立陶宛國防部次長Loreta Maskaliovienė表示，並指出雙方將進一步就合約細節展開協商。
“After careful market assessment, the C-390 Millennium clearly emerged as the optimal platform to meet Lithuania’s operational requirements,” said Loreta Maskaliovienė, Vice Minister of National Defence, adding that final contract negotiations are expected to conclude in the coming months.

C-390 Millennium為新世代戰術運輸機，設計上具備高載重（26公噸）、高速巡航（470節）與多任務模組能力，能勝任兵力投送、貨物傘降、醫療後送、救災救援、森林消防等任務，亦可選配空中加油套件。
The C-390 Millennium is a next-generation military airlifter with unmatched capabilities in its class, boasting a 26-ton payload capacity, 470-knot cruising speed, and the versatility to perform troop and cargo airlift, medevac, SAR, aerial firefighting, and air-to-air refueling missions.

C-390具備粗放型場地運作能力，可在簡易或未鋪設跑道（泥土、砂礫、壓實土）起降，特別符合東歐地區實戰與人道任務環境需求。
Its ability to operate from austere, unpaved runways makes it particularly suited for the operational environments of Eastern Europe and humanitarian relief missions.

自2019年於巴西空軍服役以來，C-390已陸續被葡萄牙、匈牙利等北約國家採購，並正持續擴展於歐洲防衛架構中的角色。現役機隊任務完成率超過99%，展現優異妥善率與可靠性。
Since its introduction by the Brazilian Air Force in 2019 and subsequent adoption by Portugal and Hungary, the C-390 has become a growing presence within NATO, demonstrating a 93% mission capability rate and over 99% mission success in active fleets.

立陶宛此次加入使用C-390的歐洲國家行列（包括葡萄牙、匈牙利、荷蘭、奧地利、捷克、瑞典、斯洛伐克），不僅強化自身空軍實力，也有助深化北約區域戰略互操作與訓練資源共享。
By joining a group of European C-390 adopters—including the Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Slovakia—Lithuania enhances its own capabilities while gaining access to a shared NATO-aligned ecosystem for training, support, and logistics.

據Embraer表示，雙方合作計畫未來也將涵蓋MRO（維修與後勤保障）產能、零件共同生產與國內知識機構參與，為立陶宛本土航空產業注入新契機。
The agreement is also expected to include industrial cooperation initiatives such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), parts co-production, and partnerships with Lithuanian knowledge institutions—boosting local industry development.
