中正大學擊劍隊缺乏軟硬體設施，隊員葉伊珊必須每周通勤高雄擊劍館，也沒有擊劍教練師資可以專業指導，只能自立自強，這也導致曾經參加世大運的擊劍選手周宗昱同學，毅然轉學到資源更多的國立體育大學，尋求更專業的環境。
