八八風災後，為了凝聚大家的向心力，成立了一個秘密基地----檨仔腳文化共享空間。
在這裡大家一起創作、生活，除了用心製作傳統窯烤披薩、麵包，還做美麗的植物染、各式各樣的陶器。
寶來藝術工作者 李懷錦先生提到有生活、生態、生產三要素，所以檨仔腳的夥伴們會共同努力找到新的夢想。
