一年一度再嘉義民雄的大士爺文化祭從8月21日凌晨正式開始，一連慶祝三天，於8月23日順利落幕，期間吸引了大量前來遊玩的的民眾，大士爺廟位於民雄的的地方‘行政’商業中心，人潮幾乎將整個地區擠的水洩不通，而這個大士爺祭典的活動也是民雄地區一年中最重要的大型活動。
