2010年兩岸經濟合作架構協議簽訂後，台灣石斑魚的出口量大增，也因此有了石斑王國的稱號。卻因不敵中國大陸近年的市場競爭，紛紛傳出歇業的消息。面對逐漸沒落的養殖漁業，政府與業者須再思考產業轉型與生態養殖的可行性。
