美國洛克希德馬丁(Lockheed Martin)近日首度公開新一代極音速滑翔體(Next Generation Glide Body,NXGB)概念設計,展現未來長程極音速打擊能力發展方向。新設計採用更具空氣力學效率的矛頭形外觀,強調模組化架構、長射程、高速飛行,以及更具成本效益的大規模生產能力。
Lockheed Martin表示,NXGB採用「模組化開放系統架構」(Modular Open Systems Approach,MOSA),可依不同作戰需求快速整合各類次系統與酬載,提高後續升級彈性與跨平台整合能力,同時提升戰場生存性。
Modular Design Aims to Improve Range, Survivability, and Production Efficiency
Lockheed Martin has unveiled the concept for its Next Generation Glide Body (NXGB), offering a first look at the company's vision for future long-range hypersonic strike capabilities. Featuring a sleek spearhead-shaped aerodynamic design, the new glide body is intended to deliver greater operational flexibility, enhanced survivability, and more affordable large-scale production.
According to Lockheed Martin, NXGB is built using a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), enabling rapid integration of future mission systems and payloads while simplifying upgrades throughout its service life. The modular architecture is also designed to improve adaptability to evolving battlefield requirements.
支援多平台發射 提升作戰彈性
洛馬指出,NXGB並非僅著重飛行速度,而是在維持極音速性能的同時,兼顧更遠射程、更高作戰效益,以及更低生產成本。
新型滑翔體可由陸基、海基及空基等多種發射平台運用,提供跨軍種部署能力,使部隊能依不同戰場需求選擇最佳發射方式,增加敵方預警與攔截難度,進一步提升嚇阻效果。
洛克希德馬丁戰略暨飛彈防禦系統副總裁暨總經理Johnathon Caldwell表示,NXGB代表公司持續推動下一代極音速嚇阻能力發展,不僅追求作戰效能,更重視可負擔成本與量產能力,希望為美軍提供兼具性能、成本與產能優勢的新世代打擊系統。
Designed for Multi-Domain Launch Platforms
Rather than focusing solely on maximizing speed, the NXGB program emphasizes longer range, higher velocity, manufacturing efficiency, and lower production costs.
The glide body is designed for deployment from multiple launch platforms across land, sea, and air domains, providing commanders with greater operational flexibility while complicating enemy detection, targeting, and interception efforts.
Johnathon Caldwell, Vice President and General Manager of Strategic and Missile Defense Systems at Lockheed Martin, stated that NXGB reflects the company's commitment to delivering next-generation hypersonic deterrence that is not only operationally effective but also affordable and scalable for mass production.
完成初步設計審查 2027年規劃飛測
洛馬表示,公司近年已持續投資專屬生產設施、先進製造技術及供應鏈整合能力,以支援未來大規模生產需求。
目前NXGB已完成「初步設計審查」(Preliminary Design Review,PDR),代表系統已通過性能、製造可行性及成本等基礎驗證,後續將進入細部設計階段。
依照規劃,NXGB預計於2027年展開首次飛行展示,驗證整體飛行性能與作戰概念,作為美軍下一代長程極音速武器的重要發展項目。
Flight Demonstration Planned for 2027
Lockheed Martin noted that it has invested heavily in dedicated production facilities, advanced manufacturing technologies, and supply-chain partnerships to support future high-rate production.
The program has now completed its Preliminary Design Review (PDR), confirming that baseline performance, manufacturability, and affordability requirements have been met. The project will now transition into the detailed design phase.
A flight demonstration is scheduled for 2027, marking the next major milestone as Lockheed Martin advances the NXGB toward becoming a future long-range hypersonic strike capability for the U.S. military.
