瑞典國防採購局(FMV)已與BUVI Scandinavia公司簽署合約,採購EvoLogics公司研製的Sonobot 5無人水面載具(USV),用於執行軍事水道測量與渡河支援任務。
此次合約金額約4,300萬瑞典克朗(約457萬美元),內容包括1套Sonobot 5系統、相關支援服務及操作訓練,預計於2026年秋季完成交付。此外,合約亦保留增購額外系統的選項。
Sweden has awarded BUVI Scandinavia a contract to supply an EvoLogics Sonobot 5 unmanned surface vehicle (USV) for military waterway survey operations.
The contract, valued at 43 million Swedish kronor (approximately $4.57 million), includes delivery of one Sonobot 5 system in autumn 2026, along with training and support services. The agreement also contains options for additional systems in the future.

The Sonobot 5 will be used to survey rivers, streams, canals, and shallow-water environments before deploying pontoon bridges or floating bridge systems.
By collecting detailed information on water depth, terrain conditions, and underwater obstacles, the system enables military engineers to identify suitable crossing points and improve the safety and efficiency of bridge construction operations.
Before entering service, the platform will undergo testing and evaluation in both coastal and inland operational environments.

According to Gabriel Dalborg, systems engineer at Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), one of Sonobot 5’s key advantages is its ability to rapidly generate detailed three-dimensional seabed imagery.
He noted that the system will significantly improve decision-making speed and enhance field operations by providing commanders and engineers with accurate environmental data.
