Anduril公司推出「Copperhead」系列自主水下載具,提升海上無人作業能力

美國國防技術公司Anduril Industries於2025年4月7日發表了名為「Copperhead」的新型自主水下載具(AUV)系列,旨在滿足軍事和商業領域對無人海上載具日益增長的需求。 

「Copperhead」系列概述

 

「Copperhead」系列包含兩種型號,每種型號提供兩種尺寸,以適應不同的任務需求:

 

  1. 基礎型Copperhead:設計用於快速反應任務,如環境監測、搜索救援和基礎設施檢查。該載具可攜帶多種設備,包括主動和被動傳感器,以及磁力計,用於探測地球磁場的變化。 
  2. Copperhead-M型:這是一種可從更大型系統部署的彈藥,特別是Anduril公司的Dive-LD和Dive-XL載具。它提供類似魚雷的功能,並設計為可大量生產。  

與現有載具的整合

Anduril的Dive-XL載具能夠攜帶數十枚較小的Copperhead-M和多枚較大型的同款彈藥,這使得一支Dive-XL艦隊能夠以前所未有的自主海上力量控制海洋區域。 

戰略意義

Anduril公司表示,透過「Copperhead」系列的推出,操作人員能夠以較低的成本快速應對水下戰場的威脅,這為海上無人作業能力提供了全面且智能的解決方案。 

Anduril Unveils ‘Copperhead’ Series of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles to Enhance Unmanned Maritime Operations

On April 7, 2025, U.S. defense technology company Anduril Industries introduced the “Copperhead” series, a new line of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) designed to meet the growing demand for unmanned maritime vessels in both military and commercial sectors. 

Overview of the ‘Copperhead’ Series

The “Copperhead” series comprises two variants, each available in two sizes to accommodate various mission requirements:

  1. Baseline Copperhead: Designed for rapid-response missions such as environmental monitoring, search and rescue, and infrastructure inspection. This vehicle can carry a range of payloads, including active and passive sensors and magnetometers to detect changes in the Earth’s magnetic field. 
  2. Copperhead-M Variant: A munition that can be deployed from larger systems, specifically Anduril’s Dive-LD and Dive-XL vessels. It offers torpedo-like capabilities and is designed for mass production.  

Integration with Existing Vessels

Anduril’s Dive-XL can carry dozens of the smaller Copperhead-M and multiple of the larger size missiles, enabling a fleet of Dive-XLs to control ocean areas with an unprecedented level of autonomous seapower. 

Strategic Significance

According to Anduril, the introduction of the “Copperhead” series allows operators to quickly respond to threats in the undersea battlespace at a fraction of the cost of legacy options, providing a comprehensive and intelligent solution for unmanned maritime operations.
