中國軍用無人機頻繁現蹤琉球群島周邊，日本強化警戒應對，美日聯手關注台海安全

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) has significantly increased its deployment of military drones around Japan's southwestern islands, raising alarms in Tokyo as regional tensions continue to escalate.

中國解放軍近期頻繁在日本西南島鏈周邊部署軍用無人機，引發東京方面高度警戒，反映出區域安全局勢正逐步升溫。

According to Japan’s Minister of Defense, Minoru Kihara, over the course of a year—from April 2024 to March 2025—there were at least 30 drone sorties conducted by Chinese forces near the Nansei Islands, including estimated figures. The expansion in flight range has become increasingly evident.

日本防衛大臣木原稔指出，自2024年4月至2025年3月，疑似中方軍用無人機在南西諸島周邊出現的次數累計已達30架次，且活動範圍有擴大跡象。

Tokyo views these moves as part of a broader strategy by Beijing to apply military pressure on Taiwan, while also testing the operational reach of US forces stationed in Japan.

東京方面分析，此舉不僅是對台灣施壓的戰略手段，也可能旨在牽制駐日美軍的行動自由，特別是當台海發生衝突時。

Japan has decided to take its drone capabilities to the next level. The Ground Self-Defense Force is set to procure 310 loitering munitions—commonly known as "kamikaze drones"—marking a significant shift from its previous use of drones solely for reconnaissance.

日本方面也不甘示弱，宣布將首次引進310架具備攻擊能力的「自殺式無人機」，象徵日本無人機戰略正式跨入實戰階段，跳脫過往僅用於偵察的定位。

In line with Japan’s National Defense Strategy published at the end of 2022, unmanned systems are seen as transformative tools for future warfare. Tokyo plans to invest about 1 trillion yen by 2027 to accelerate the deployment of such technologies.
