為期八天的台灣燈會，在市長黃敏惠和觀光局長賴瑟珍共同啟動下，主燈展示最後一次的表演。這次燈會共吸引421萬的參觀人數，再度為嘉義市創下一個新紀錄，也展現市府團隊勇於接受挑戰，全力以赴的企圖心。
