位於新竹縣關西坪林大廟，
也就是元和宮，
每年農曆七月十四日下午兩點，
開始進行普渡儀式，
這種把雞鴨等牲儀吊掛在架上祭拜好兄弟的方式
客家話稱為「吊棧」
參與元和宮普渡的信徒有三個里，
上林里、新力里和南和里，
據當地居民說以前是到新埔義民廟普渡，
後來才遷回元和宮祭拜，
保留了這項特有的普渡儀式。
