美國United States Army第101空降師近期於演習中,運用新創公司Petrel Technologies研發的AERO Sky垂直起降無人機,成功在空中投放第一人稱視角(FPV)無人機,驗證「空中母艦」作戰構想。
The U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division recently tested an airborne mothership concept by deploying FPV drones from the AERO Sky VTOL UAV developed by Petrel Technologies.

According to reports, during a live-fire exercise at Fort Polk, the AERO Sky carried multiple armed FPV drones and released them near the target area.
FPV無人機隨即接手執行精準打擊,而母機則迅速撤離戰場,有效降低風險。
The FPV drones then executed precision strikes, while the mothership UAV withdrew, reducing operational risk.
