Climate action to raise public awareness

文字-A A +A

Climate issues are heating up just like our planet, and Climate Activism is taking to the streets to raise the public's attention to the dire situation. With seemingly no end to forest fires, floods, rising sea levels, earthquakes, typhoons, extreme climates, etc., ever-increasing climate issues are like a new coronavirus pandemic, threatening our lives and properties. If the earth continues to heat up at the current rate, parts of Taiwan will be submerged in the sea in less than 30 years. This isn't an exaggeration just to scare people. If you carefully observe floods in previous years, you will find that the situation is indeed increasingly serious. Take Venice as an example: four out of the six major floods that have occurred since 1200 A.D. have occurred in the past 20 years. As an island country, Taiwan needs to be more vigilant.
