Protect Alangyi Trail Alliance established on 18 November 2014

In a bid to protect a precious strip of Pingtung’s natural coastline, known as the Alangyi Trail (阿朗壹古道), a group of independently motivated people recently converged on Hengchun’s East Gate. At the gathering, an alliance was establishment with the hope of uniting forces from all social circles to protect Alangyi Trail.

The event got under way with members from over 30 NGOs and various volunteers voicing out; musicians Huang Que-yin (黃卻銀) and Dai Xiao-jun (戴曉君) led everyone with their wonderful music, expressing their reverence for Nature and their will to protect it; teacher Wang huang-Peng(王煌鵬) aroused the people’s faith; and teacher Wang Ming-tang (王明堂) recorded the people’s determination through painting and calligraphy. The event was a display of common people joining hands to take responsibility for guarding the environment and Alangyi Trail for future generations to come.

為了保護珍貴的自然海岸，公民朋友在屏東恆春東門城，自主發起守護阿朗壹古道，並成立聯盟希望凝聚在地各界力量守護阿塱壹古道，率先有三十幾個團體與志工自主發聲，黃卻銀老師和戴曉君老師也以歌聲帶領大家，唱出對土地崇敬與守護的心，王煌鵬老師以鼓動擊出公民的信心、王明堂老師以書畫寫下公民的決心，眾人共同為了子孫的將來，攜手來做負責任的一代，堅決守護生態與阿朗壹古道。
